Top Ten "Girly Girl" Rules

1. Always have an emergency beauty kit with you… (Mascara, Eyeliner, Concealer, Lipgloss, bobbypins, Lotion, Gum/mints, hair tie or two,) You never know who or what my pop up.
2. Change your shampoo and conditioner at least once a month. It stops working as well if you use the same one too long.
3. Try not to wash your hair everyday, its actually better for your hair to do that. If you hate the feeling of dirty hair try a dry shampoo like Tresemme’s Fresh Start Foam Waterless Shampoo.
4. Have a lot of mix and match pieces in your wardrobe. You will be able to make more outfits out of less pieces.
5. Wash your face every night before going to sleep!!!
6. Keep a calendar of your period. This will help you give you an estimate of when your period should arrive which will ensure you don’t have any accidents.
7. For super soft feet, one to two times a week soak them in warm to hot water for 10 minutes. Then dry them off completely or the next step won‘t work very well. Use a pumice stone, scrubbing firmly but not too hard and focus on the heels. Make sure you do this over an area that is easy to clean up because there may be a lot of skin particles. Once there is no excess skin coming off rinse them under water one more time. Then put a good amount of lotion on them and rub in but not completely. Then put socks on and go to sleep. The next morning they will be super soft!
8. Faithfully brushing your teeth twice a day especially if its with whitening toothpaste will make your teeth pearly white.
9. Once a week wash your hair before you go to bed. Wash hair with shampoo like you normally would but don’t use conditioner until after your shower. When your done with your shower, turn off the water and apply a good amount of conditioner into your hair and leave it in. Put a shower cap on and go to sleep. In the morning wash your hair again like you usually would. When your done it will be softer than ever!
10. At least once a week give your self a relaxation/grooming day and make it a routine. I usually do this on Sunday night to prepare for the upcoming week. Some things to do during this are giving yourself a mani/pedi, give yourself a facial and use a mask (my favorite is Queen Helen Mint Julep Mask), deep condition your hair, etc.
